If guitar licks & face-melting solos from Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Steve Lukathur make your knees weak, your hands tremble and your jaw hit the floor (and you’ve got their posters on your wall too, I bet!), don’t miss this chance to see these three legends take to the stage, and go head to head in an all-star jam session.

The G3 series of concerts was founded by Joe Satriani in 1996 and over the years has featured many celebrated guitarists including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Yngwie Malmsteen & Eric Johnson. This year’s line up threatens to overshadow them all! Satriani is widely regarded as one of the most technically accomplished guitar players in the history of rock, Vai cut his teeth with Zappa, David Lee Roth & Whitesnake and has sold 15 million albums worldwide and Lukather has five Grammy’s under his belt, has played with everyone from MJ to Miles Davis and founded the legendary Toto.
The gig is at Panthers, is all ages and with fully reserved seating. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, 29 February. Pre-sale is available from midday on Monday, 27 February until 5pm on Tuesday, 28 February. Grab them here. If you want to take it to the next level, Moshtix will also have VIP packages available.

Cale, I suspect that there’s no info on the Moshtix site because the pre-sale isn’t until Monday… seems a bit odd though… I’ll try and find out more & comment here with more info 🙂

would love to go to and watch these amazing gutarist, as i play in a great newcastle band and am only a mere drummer i can appreciate an amazing muscian or two and having a young family cant reall y afford to buy the ticket so a free one would just top off my week completly
