Photographing Lambton Park

Photographing Lambton Park

I had driven past this park several times before actually looking and seeing how beautiful it is. Photographers and architects alike will relish in the symmetry everywhere - I don’t think there are any trees planted that are not in a line. Quite sizeable, the park includes a bowling club, a pool, tennis courts, a playground and a rotunda! There were plenty of other people out and about enjoying the park and putting its grounds to good use. Tucked away from any major roads, it’s a great place to chill out of an afternoon.

Each week “The Grid” features photos of a selected area of the Newcastle & Hunter region, capturing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Great photos. I was brought up and when to school in Lambton and now work there for the past 20, and the park is great. I agree about the trees, planner like his ruler.
Intresting that you didnt focus on the rotunda like most would have.
Keep up the great work
