Food and Wine Expo @ Newcastle Entertainment Centre
If you love food and wine you are guaranteed not to be disappointed by this second year running event. Enjoy free tastings and samplings, meet up with some celebrity chefs, and become inspired by all things home and kitchen ware.

Design Plus @ Parry St, Newcastle West
Design + is a one day event which celebrates the wealth of design talent in Newcastle. With numerous stations set up through Newcastle, Design + showcases the talent and products available to not only the architecture and interior design professionals, nut also the public community. Through the day you will discover products, services and local artists; learn from professional leaders and attend workshops; and of course eat with a number stalls set up to help you refuel.

Newcastle Jazz Festival @ Newcastle Jockey Club
The 27th Annual Jazz Festival is on again this weekend with a fabulous line up of both national and internationally celebrated musicians. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with friends as over 40 bands will be playing non stop all weekend.

Art Bazaar Maitland @ Maitland Regional Art Gallery
The Art Bazaar Markets have been running each year since 2002. The markets showcase a diverse range of local talent from across the Hunter region. The event is successfully put on each year by Hunter Arts Network (HAN) which is a non-profit membership of artists, designers, jewellers and craft people from the Hunter Region. All of the art and craft sold is original, handmade and of top quality.

Pulse Amazing Race Around newcastle @ Nesca Park
Ever watched the Amazing Race on television and wanted to be apart of it? Here is your chance. For the first time Newcastle will introducing it’s own Amazing Race around the city. Gather a team together to solve a range of both mental and physical challenges. This is also a great charity event, with all the money raised going to the Hunter’s Early Career Researchers.

Pool Comp @ Bar On The Hill
Bar On The Hill is a great starting point for all University students to kick off their Wednesday night. Join the feel pool comp from 3pm before the $4 drink special and music begins at 7pm. From their the University provides free shuttle buses in town at 10pm.
