Mason Rack @ The Wickham Park Hotel

Set in the picturesque Hunter Valley, these boutique markets offer everything from local handmade art works to jewellery and fine wines.

Hands Like House @ The Small Ballroom

With full US and Uk tours during 2013, 2014 does not see the band slowing down. Hands Like House will be taking their high-energy rock band to many more countries right up until December, including an appearance at Newcastle’s The Small Ballroom.

Tuesday 23rd

Night OWLS Exhibition @ Newcastle Museum

Night OWLS (Original Welcoming Lighting Solutions) is a competition for young people between the age of 15 and 29. The competition requires the entrants to design a creative lighting installation for selected areas of the Newcastle City Centre. All selected designs will be on display at the Newcastle Museum until the 3rd of November with the winner being announced in October.

Sandi Thom @ The Depot On Beaumont

Since the release of her smash hit ‘I wish I was a punk rocker (with flowers in my hair)’, Sandi Thom has cemented herself as world wide independent artist. Having just completed a US tour and the recording of a live show in her hometown in Scottland on DVD, Thom is now embarking on an east coast tour of Australia
