Award winning Newcastle band: Let the Number be X

Newcastle band ‘Let the Number be X’ are one of those up and coming groups that just appear to be unstoppable. The bands rock star sound has been described as ‘30 Seconds to Mars’ meets ‘Skrillex’ and this unique genre has caught the attention of booking agencies everywhere and even won them a MusicOz award in 2012. The group consists of Christopher Hoole on vocals, Belial Naoe strumming the bass, Josh Pascoe rocking the guitar and the mysterious ‘X’ also shredding it up on guitar.

LTNBX’s latest achievement is none to shabby either, securing a gig this Friday the 28th of June in the Cambridge Hotel supporting none other than Central Coast legends ‘Something with Numbers’.

Chris Hoole from the band told us “You always aim to be supporting larger acts. We’ve been quite persistent with our latest run of local shows, but this major support opportunity with a band like Something With Numbers came out of the blue, so we are thrilled that our name is starting to push further into the industry. It’s a real honour knowing that our music has a place amongst the best.”

The band are also seconds away from launching their new track ‘Trigger me Happy’ but said “It’s always good to keep people on their toes, we would rather make the track the best it can be and release it when it’s ready.” The new track will be a small taster of the new EP ‘Vol.2’ which they told Urban Insider is scheduled for release towards the end of they year.

LTNBX told us after their gig supporting Something with Numbers they will be playing one more supporting gig the week after with ‘The Given Things’ then plan to go into a short hibernation to finish off the new EP. So if you want to catch this award winning home-grown band this Friday is your chance.
