On a sunny afternoon or balmy evening its hard to beat Honeysuckle Hotel
My favourite is Happy Hour (actually 2hrs) at Cibo in Beaumont Street - half price cocktails and beer of the day from 4pm til 6 every day!! The Cosmos are perfection!
If it’s Thursday, No.1 choice is The Dockyard at Honeysuckle with a bucket of Coronas, or a Carafe of pimms (plus bonuses for gingers) you can’t go wrong.
A nice wine on the lounges at Sabor in Beaumont Street or Longworth House.

In town to chat with friends I love The Lass O Gowrie, but closer to home you can’t beat the prices and the view at The Waterboard Bowling Club.
I say this all and I spend all my time at the GT Bar and Bar on the Hill at the University. You can find me in here every afternoon of the week!
The lass o’gowrie. It’s like an oasis in the city. Sitting under a palm tree with a cold beer and good friends is as good as it gets.
